Here’s how to cure your hemorrhoids naturally at home

Hemorrhoids are illustrated by the dilation of the veins in the anal region. Common symptoms may include pain, itching and rectal bleeding. They can develop inside or outside the anus and rectum. Particularly troublesome and painful, here are tips to relieve the symptoms of hemorrhoids.

Consume fiber

If you are looking for remedies for hemorrhoids, you must start by healing the body from the inside with a high fiber diet, as  advised by  Dr. Thierry Higuero, gastroenterologist. This helps reduce the bleeding and pain caused by hemorrhoids. Consume more amounts of   fiber-rich fruits and vegetables, brown rice, whole grains and nuts to cure hemorrhoids. Also drink plenty of water to prevent constipation.

A tea bag

External hemorrhoids can be soothed by applying a warm, moist tea bag. Tanic acid in the tea will help reduce swelling, relieve pain and promote blood clotting   to stop bleeding. According to a  study  published in 2016 in the scientific journal  ACS Applied material & interfaces,  tanic acid has anti-inflammatory capabilities that can be effective for healing wounds and healing.

Avoid sitting too much

If you have a desk job, walk for five minutes at least once an hour to relieve the rectal pressure that causes hemorrhoids. At the gym, avoid stationary bikes that can apply the same pressure. Instead, try to  walk quickly for 20 to 30 minutes to encourage bowel function.

Take sitz baths with hot water

Hot water improves blood circulation and helps to reduce swollen veins. To take advantage of its  benefits , fill your bathtub with hot water. Sit in the water with the  knees  raised to get maximum exposure to the heat of the affected area. Dissolving a handful of Epsom salts in the tub before starting your bath will help reduce hemorrhoids even further.

Use the cold

The blood vessels swell with the hemorrhoids, but the cold can deflate them and relieve them considerably. Fill an  ice pack , wrap it in a thin cloth and sit on it for about 20 minutes to relieve the pain and hemorrhoids. Repeat as necessary, but wait at least ten minutes between each application.

Keep the area clean

Swap your daily shower for a warm bath so you can soak the anal area in warm water. Do not clean this  area  with industrial scented soap, alcohol-based or scented wipes, as this may aggravate hemorrhoids. When you get out of the tub, use a hair dryer to gently dry the area.

Simply reduce the impact of the weight of your painful anal area by  lying down , legs in the air by pressing on a cushion. You will also improve  blood circulation , reducing the pain associated with hemorrhoids.

Do not hold back the urge to go to the toilet

Retaining your desire to go to the bathroom can lead to constipation. This can then cause abdominal pressure and  hemorrhoids . So do not hesitate to use the bathroom as soon as you need it to avoid them.

Use potatoes

A potato-based compress   is a surprisingly effective home remedy for hemorrhoids. Simply cut a slat-shaped potato and attach them to the area of the anus with a tissue. The potato acts as a soothing astringent.

Apply witch hazel

Witch hazel  is known to reduce pain, itching and bleeding until hemorrhoids disappear. It contains tannins and oils that can help reduce inflammation and slow down bleeding. Dip a cotton ball in undistilled hamamelis water and squeeze it against the hemorrhoid.
